Deeds of The Nameless are a young quartet hailing from the leafy wilds of North London and have released their debut EP ‘Do I’ on 07/07/08. DOTN have been called ‘one of the most exiting bands to come out of London this year’ and this debut release truly lives up to that austere moniker producing devastatingly intense rock tunes with great harmonic sensibilities.

From the moment the first chord is struck you are grabbed by the scruff of the neck and frog marched to the dance floor where a legion of sweaty fans awaits. ‘Do I’ has a huge chorus that will surely be a hit with festival goers and children of the sun this summer.

We see a different side of DOTN with the track ‘Begging You’, a real maturity in the songwriting comes through and you become enthralled by the soft yet soulful rhetoric that one of the singing brothers Richard Bueno delivers. ‘Crooked Usage’ is a much more raucous affair with big guitars and even bigger riffs that gives a gentle nod to big Americana bands of the last decade. Already with a handful of celebrity endorsees including Alex Zane, Biffy Clyro, and their ex-drummer Stef of the Klaxons it’s clear we can expect big things from them in 2008.

The boys are already making waves in the media picking up rave reviews in the press and receiving airplay from a myriad of radio stations including BBC Radio Lancashire + Link FM to name but a few and this release and promotional tour is set to etch them even further into the consciousness of the Industry tastemakers. Half the Deeds have already tasted chart success with their former band Serum who garnered huge critical acclaim from the likes of Steve Lamaq, Robert Elmes (GLR), XFM, Virgin and Radio 1 so the boys are no strangers to the limelight. The festival offers have already started flooding in with secured slots at Surface festival and Cockermouth Rock festival in Cumbria – couple this with some big dates like the Clapham Grand, The Cavern and Dingwalls looming on the horizon it won’t be long till DOTN gain the national recognition that they deserve.

DOTN now plan to record their new record 'Enemy Within' later this year which is due to be recorded by some ledgendary producers......watch closely for January 2009.........

‘Do I’ was released on 07/07/08 through Compulsive Recordings…………
